I met Eileen while photographing a bar she used to work at. A few months after the shoot I noticed the bar had posted a farewell to Eileen and wished her luck on her new endeavor, making custom wedding dresses.
I had recently gotten engaged and knew I wouldn’t find something at a store because I’m extremely creative, specific, and picky.
I reached out and we met virtually. Aside from meeting her briefly a few months back, within a few minutes of speaking, I felt like I was talking to a friend.
I laid all of my cards on the table, stating my ideas, fully knowing that this dress was going to be a ton of work and hand sewing, especially with all the applique; without flinching Eileen said we’re going to figure this out together.
they say when you know, you know, and I knew Eileen was the person to make my dress dream come true.
what came to fruition was beyond what I envisioned. As someone who works creatively for a living and has embarrassingly high standards Eileen cracked the sky.
There is no one else I would recommend for a custom wedding dress. Eileen and windy haven are it.
